Books published by Modern English Tanka Press are printed as they are ordered. We are a Print-On-Demand (POD) publisher. MET Press uses printing and distribution services provided by Lulu, Inc., Morrisville, North Carolina, USA. ALL orders, whether placed at our MET Press website, www.modernenglishtankapress.com / www.themetpress.com, or at our MET Press bookstore on Lulu.com at stores.lulu.com/modernenglishtanka, are fulfilled through the services of Lulu, Inc. which manufactures and ships your orders.

At the end of October 2008, Lulu, Inc. raised shipping rates. The new flat rates for MET Press that result from the rate increase are reflected below.

As of November 1, 2008, our S&H flat rates for single items are:
• S&H USA — $6.00 for addresses in the United States of America.
• S&H UK, NZ — $11.00 for addresses in the United Kingdom and New Zealand.
• S&H AUS, W.EUR — $15.00 for addresses in Australia and Western Europe.
• S&H CAN — $16.00 for addresses in Canada.
• S&H ASIA — $22.00 for addresses in The Philippines, in Japan, or in other Asian countries.

Please be certain to select the shipping rate that matches the address to which your order is to be delivered.

Paperback books usually ship within 4 business days after your order date. (Orders of more than 25 may take from 6-8 business days.) Expect your order to arrive in about a week plus the shipment time. We generally ship by USPS Media Mail in the USA and by other carriers’ economy rates for overseas shipments. Media Mail in the USA takes about seven days. Overseas mail takes one or two weeks, usually. Hardcover books go through a more extensive print on demand manufacturing process. They usually ship within 10 business days after your order date.

This policy applies only to purchases made directly from the publisher, Modern English Tanka Press, at this website.

If you purchased a title in download format at our Lulu.com bookstore, it is available immediately in your downloads/purchases in your Lulu account.

Other Sellers: Orders placed with any other seller for books and other products published by Modern English Tanka Press are not the responsibility of Modern English Tanka Press. You must deal with your bookseller, from whom you purchased, with respect to any issues with shipping and handling.
